The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science emphasizes mathematical concepts and their practical applicability. By the end of their senior year, students develop the mathematical sophistication and expertise in computational technology that will help them with abstract reasoning, problem-solving, proficiency in the use of computers, and conceptual appreciation of mathematics.
|
Teachers work closely with students to build skills in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, math modeling, and game theory, based on their ability, interest and potential. Placement will be determined by Department faculty.
